Getting started
Anime Zero Beginner Guide: Your First Story Clear
Start with one fighter and a Story stage you can finish consistently. Learn how the kit handles a wave and a boss before you spend your Coins, Gems or Trait Rerolls on a replacement.

Start in the correct Roblox experience
Look for Anime Zero by LY* on Roblox. As checked on November 6, 2026, its listing carries the [UPD 6] tag. The developer lists Story, Infinite, Raids and Trials and describes the game as playable solo or with up to five friends.
In the lobby, open Codes from the right side of the screen. Copy a code into the field and select Redeem. Check the result before spending: a code can be used once on an account and some entries may require more progression.
Summon a fighter and try its moves
Use the summon screen to see which fighters are available with the roll currency you own. Check the odds on the selected tab before spending. Regular Rolls, Lucky Spins and Trait Rerolls have separate uses, so read the button before you confirm.
Try your first fighter before committing upgrades. Identify a move that hits a group, a move you can land on a moving boss and a safe way to disengage. If a slower skill leaves you open, use it when the target finishes attacking.
Clear one Story act and check the rewards
- Open the lobby selection, choose Story and start with an unlocked act on a difficulty you can finish. An older recording shows the act, difficulty and reward panel together in Create Lobby.
- Use area attacks on groups and save a reliable move for bosses. Watch the first boss attack before committing a long animation.
- Read the clear screen and note your Coins, Gems and material drops. Try the next act when you can repeat your current clear without regular wipes.
- If you need a specific material later, compare it with the Rewards panel for that act and difficulty. Use the displayed rate after selecting a target when the option is available.
Upgrade for your next clear
Spend early resources on the fighter you actually use. Keep a second fighter with a different role once your loadout supports it. For example, pair a strong boss attack with a kit that can cover a room of smaller enemies.
Potential is the current build system. It replaced the older Skill Tree in Update 5.1. Open the path menu for your chosen fighter and compare the bonuses with what you do in combat. Save optional Trait Rerolls until you have a kit you plan to use for more than a few runs.
When you can finish Story reliably, choose your next mode by the reward you need. Use Infinite to practice repeated waves, and read the entry and reward panels before joining a Raid or Trial.
